Admissions

Joining Our School

  • Joining at the start of Reception & Years 1 to 6

Parents wishing to apply for a place for their child in one of our Reception classes or in a class in Years One to Six, please visit the Cambridgeshire Local Authority’s School Admissions website.

This includes a new school catchment search facility so that you can find out if you are living in our school’s catchment area (although you do not need to be in catchment to apply).

You can also apply for a place online.

  • Joining the School During the School Year

Reception and Years One to Six

If you wish to join the school at a time other than the start of the school year, please visit this section of the Cambridgeshire Local Authority website.

If you would like your child to start at our school please contact the school office for further information or to arrange a visit.

We would love to show you around!

  • Moving Schools

A move to a different school at any time other than admission to reception, transfer to junior or transfer to secondary is known as an ‘in-year transfer’. This could be a move between Norfolk schools or a move to a Norfolk school from a school in a different area.

  • Joining the School During the School Year

If you want to transfer to a school that is not in Norfolk you will need to contact your new local authority to ask about their admissions process. Find your new local authority using the Government’s postcode finder.

Under no circumstances should you withdraw your child from their current school before an alternative school place has been allocated.

    Apply online

Read the In-Year Admissions Guidance before you begin your application.

    https://online.norfolk.gov.uk/inyearschoolsadmissions/

Please note that all applications will be dealt with as quickly as possible but can take up to 15 school days.
